Safari Itinerary
Day 1
Arusha City
REST & REBOOT
Welcome to Tanzania!
Our waiting driver-guide will pick you up from the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer you to the City of Arusha in your private safari vehicle. We will check you in to your lodge and you can spend the rest of the day unwinding and recuperating from your flight.
Day 2
Lake Manyara
FLAMINGOS ON THE RIFT VALLEY
We will check out of the lodge in the morning and start making our way towards your first safari stop, the Lake Manyara National Park.
Our day will be spent traversing the many sceneries that this exquisite National Park has to offer. From tree covered canopies, to a bit of open savannah, swamps and a lake.
Mid-afternoon, we will head for your Treetop Walkway adventure – before exiting the park and making our way to Karatu for your overnight stay.
Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater
A SPECTACULAR SAFARI EXPERIENCE
We will exit the lodge early today as we head to the nearest descent crater trail to descend onto the crater floor. Our day will be spent on the unique Ngorongoro Crater floor, trekking the various animals that inhabit this collapsed volcanic caldera.
Our lunch stop will be lakeside inside the crater, after which our game drive continues, and, towards the late afternoon, or whenever you’ve had enough, we will make our way back up the crater rim and back to your lodge.
Day 4
The Serengeti
THE NORTHERN MARA
We will check out of the lodge this morning and transfer to the Lake Manyara Airstrip in Karatu where you will hop onto a bush flight to Northern Serengeti, landing at the Kogatende Airstrip.
On arrival, you will be picked up by our expert driver-guide and head straight out for an amazing game drive of the northern Serengeti. Time permitting, we will visit one of the designated river crossings to hopefully get a glimpse of the infamous Mara River crossing.
Around mid-afternoon, we will head to your new lodge in the north.
Day 5
The Serengeti
Our day will begin super early as we head out for a Safari from the Sky with Hot Air Balloon ride over the wild Serengeti.
Once done, we will head out for a game drive of the northern Serengeti where you will get a chance to see the River Crossing where thousands of Wildebeest try to cross the crocodile infested Mara River.
We will return to the camp for a hot lunch. Later, whenever you are ready, we will head back out for another game drive, returning before sundown.
Day 6
The Serengeti
EXPLORING THE ENDLESS PLAINS
Our Safari continues as we check out of your camp this morning and head out for one more game drive near the Mara River and the surrounding hotspots. Our game drive will gradually take us South towards the Central Serengeti as well.
Towards the late afternoon or early evening, or whenever you have had enough, we will make our way towards your new camp for the night in the Central Seronera area.
Day 7
The Serengeti
RELAXING IN THE WILD
You can choose to head out for an early morning game drive with a picnic lunch and return to the lodge for some relaxation later around lunch or you can choose to stay in through the morning and head out later for a game drive.
You can plan your day with your driver-guide a day before.
Day 8
End of Experience
Our wildlife safari draws to a close today as we check out of the lodge and make our way towards the Seronera Airstrip to catch a bush flight to Arusha.
We will pick you up from Arusha Airport and transfer to the Kilimanjaro International Airport, in time for your flight out from Tanzania.
